Otto

I just stopped by to say, I enjoyed meeting Otto again. Fun little easter egg (we need to come up with a pure language version of that) from All Things New.

Speaking of Otto, in my play through, I collected the two wheels, the pedal, the seat, and the frame of the bicycle by the time I visited Otto and he gave me the schematic. From what I saw of the schematic, it appeared as if the UI was designed to be filled in as I collected the parts? But since I had them all at the start, I am not sure about that. Suffice to say, I feel like I got all the parts (unless I need two pedals), but Otto is not offering to build my bike.

Is that because the bike is not available in the demo, or am I missing a piece, or did the fact that I collected the parts before receiving the schematics cause a bug?

Anyway, great demo, I look forward to the final product, keep up the great work!

@Eric now that we have an official crossover, maybe you can drop everything and completely rewrite parts of All Things New and the ending of Critical Times to be consistent with the Flee trilogy, thereby introducing a Theocratic Multimedia Fictional Universe!

@Jim Boudreaux II Hi! Was just browsing the site for any updates on the game and couldn't help but notice your comment. I'm guessing those must be books from a fellow brother? I was wondering what they're about and if (or which) are worth checking out :)

EDIT: Upon further digging, I managed to piece together who the writer is :P I'd only found out about this game through Instagram, and I'd never heard about the books here in Portugal. But they do sound great, so I guess the question stands lol Which would be best to start picking up?

"All Things New" is a great place to start. It is a series of first hand accounts of Armageddon survivors told to the central character who is traveling west during the clean up and reconstruction work. He also has his own heart-warming story.

"The Unrighteous" is a great follow up. It’s a straight forward novel set 200+ years into the new world and deals with a family welcoming back some of the first Unrighteous to be resurrected. It’s great, but I cannot say more without spoiling it.

The Flee, Stay, Stand trilogy is also an excellent epic account of the GT and Armageddon following a number of geographically isolated characters.

”Critical Times" covers the same period in one book following a sister and her unbelieving husband.

Other than the trilogy, they are all independent and can be read in any order. Also, note that their depictions of Armageddon and the GT are incomparable and are essentially different fictional takes.
